We Are On The Move
At A Well-Fed Soul, we believe our mission doesn’t stop at blogs, books, or screens. We’re stepping outside, into the heart of our communities, to live out the encouragement and hope we share every day. Faith was never meant to be stationary — it’s active, alive, and moving!

From local events to volunteer efforts, we are committed to being present where people gather and needs arise. Whether it’s sharing a warm meal, offering a listening ear, or simply being a light, A Well-Fed Soul shows up with love, faith, and genuine care.
We want to meet people where they are — in parks, at churches, in coffee shops, and community centers — bringing the Good News in relatable, real-life ways. Through conversation, prayer, and simple acts of kindness, we are spreading practical faith you can see and feel.
Being on the move means more than just showing up; it’s about building relationships. We’re here to create lasting connections, offer support, and walk alongside others in their journeys. Every handshake, smile, and prayer is a seed of hope planted in love.
Our footsteps are just beginning to trace new paths in communities near and far. Keep an eye out — A Well-Fed Soul might be coming to your area next! We are excited to continue moving, loving, serving, and shining God’s light wherever He leads us.

The Community Village Garden
The Village Community Garden in Sylvester, GA is well worth the trip. Ran by husband and wife team Brother Sam X and Sister Edna Garcia, The Village Community Garden provides food for the residents of the city. However, the most valuable things they provide are research and education. A variety of programs and workshops are held throughout the year with topics ranging from sustainable planting to healthy eating. Wellness and wholeness are motivators for the team at The Village Community Garden. In addition to the fruits and vegetables grown there, TVCG offers an extensive selection of medicinal plants and herbs.
The Garden is very impressive. At my visit, there were peas, okra, watermelons, and many other summer crops in full bloom and ready to harvest. It is a gardener's or herbalist's dream destination. I believe the thoughtful detail put into every facet of the community is what impressed me the most. The Village Community Garden collaborates with area universities, medical facilities, and extension services for ongoing training, research, and education. They are authentic and genuine people who have a heart for other people and their wellbeing.
The Village Community Garden is located at 201 W. Paulk Street in Sylvester, GA. Call (229) 339-1450 to arrange an in-depth training tour for your school agriculture class, your garden club, or for any group that has a genuine interest in learning about growing and farming in general.
Bring the kids and the whole family. There is something for everyone to enjoy like the hundreds of hand painted gourds that house special birds, the purple martins, each year. The admission is free. However, a case a water, Gatorade, or Powerade is greatly appreciated. As you can imagine, it is challenging for the team and their many volunteers (known as The Sankofa Group) to stay hydrated as they are consistently working in the heat. Please be sure and let me know what your favorite part of the tour was.

"Commitment! This is such a POWERFUL message. This statement stood out to me in my reading, “It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being present.”. Thank you for the Monday morning spiritual message. Keep on doing what you are doing Ms. Cynthia. It’s truly making a spiritual difference in my life. ✝️✝️✝️"

God Is Not Holding Out On You.
Let’s clear this up: God isn’t withholding anything good from you.
Even when it feels like your prayers are unanswered or your breakthrough is delayed, the truth remains:
“No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” —Psalm 84:11
God is generous. He’s a loving Father who delights in blessing His children. He wants you to prosper—not just financially, but in peace, purpose, health, and joy.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” —3 John 1:2
And yes, He promises to bless the work of your hands. Your hard work, your obedience, your faith—it’s not in vain.
“The Lord will bless all the work of your hands.” —Deuteronomy 28:12
If it hasn’t happened yet, it doesn’t mean it won’t. Delay is not denial. God is preparing the blessing—and preparing you to receive it.
So don’t quit. Don’t doubt.
God is for you, and every good thing He’s promised is still on the way.
